While fasting there are really only 4 things you can drink. Anything outside this list will spike your insulin and take you out of a fasted state.
First why is being in a fasted state so important?
when you are fasting your body is reducing the insulin in your blood stream and it’s forcing your body to find energy from the stored glucose in your body (also called Fat). So when we fast we are literally burning fat cells so that our body can have the energy it needs to work for the day.
these 4 drinks will help keep you moving in the fasting direction.
1 Apple Cider Vinegar
2 sea salt water/ cream Of tartar water/ plain water.
3 green tea
4 black coffee
anything out side this list will cause an insulin response and take you out of a fasting state.
